Quick answers to common questions about CEP UoK
Everyone is welcome — there is no formal requirement to attend. Simply come to any of our fellowship sessions on campus. If you'd like to become a registered member, fill in the membership form on this site or speak to any leader after a service, and we'll guide you through the short registration process.
We gather at both Kacyiru and Remera campuses throughout the week. English Fellowship is on Monday and Kinyarwanda Fellowship on Wednesday (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, Kacyiru), Remera Campus meets Friday, and Weekend Fellowship runs Saturday or Sunday afternoon. See the Fellowship page for the full weekly schedule.
CEP UoK has six departments: Evangelism, Choir, Protocol, Social Affairs, Media Team and Worship Team. Several have sub-teams within them. Visit the Departments page to read what each one does, then speak to a leader about joining.
We typically respond within 24–72 hours on weekdays. For anything urgent, call us directly on +250 791 619 272. If you write over the weekend, expect a reply early the following week. If you haven't heard back after 72 hours, please check your spam folder or call us.
No. CEP UoK is open to every student at the University of Kigali regardless of denomination or background. We operate under the spiritual covering of ADEPR through Kimihurura International Service (KIS), but you do not need to be an ADEPR member to fellowship with us or serve in a department.
Not at all. Alumni remain part of the family through our POST CEPiens community, and staff and friends of the university are welcome at our gatherings. Many of our alumni continue to mentor, support and serve alongside current students.
