Celebrating God's faithfulness through the years
CEP UoK was officially established at the University of Kigali, bringing together Pentecostal students with a vision to impact the campus for Christ.
CEP UoK launched its first entrepreneurship and leadership initiative programs, bridging spiritual growth with practical life skills. Building on this momentum, the ministry established the landmark Spearhead Initiative to build member capacity, champion self-reliance, and foster a culture of mutual support. This foundational pillar empowers believers to be active problem-solvers, driving holistic development across their families, communities, and the nation.
Extended fellowship activities to include both Kacyiru and Remera campuses, reaching more students with the Gospel.
Introduced Day and Weekend sessions to accommodate diverse student schedules, doubling our ministry reach.
Established comprehensive media team and online presence, extending our impact beyond physical campus boundaries.
Celebrating sustained growth with over 200 active members and strengthened partnerships with local churches.
CEP UoK was founded in 2016 as a space where students at the University of Kigali could gather for prayer, worship, and fellowship. What started as a small group has grown into a vibrant community with dual sessions serving students across multiple campuses.
From 2016 to 2022, CEP operated as a unified fellowship. In 2023, recognizing the diverse schedules and needs of our members, we launched Day and Weekend sessions, allowing more students to participate in meaningful fellowship at times that work for them.
From 2019 onwards, CEP leadership intentionally emphasized preparing members for life beyond university. We introduced continuous sensitization programs on entrepreneurship, job creation, and leadership accountability.
